Colonial Farm Credit is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, a financial cooperative owned by its member-borrowers since 1916. Our primary function is to provide loans, including:
  • Farm and country home loans
  • Loans for land purchase, home construction, and improvements
  • Loans for buildings, machinery, livestock and equipment 
  • Production loans for both full-time and part-time farmers
  • Loans for ag-related businesses
  • Wood industry loans for operating capital, timberland acquisition, standing timber


<h2>VQHA - the Virginia Quarter Horse Association</h2>
The purpose of the Virginia Quarter Horse Association (VQHA) is to develop positive participation in Quarter Horse activities within Virginia in cooperation with the American Quarter Horse Association. Our goal is to promote and stimulate the sale, breeding, exhibition and ownership of the Quarter Horse. Above all, VQHA will encourage sportsmanship and family values in all activities, insisting on the humane and dignified treatment of the American Quarter Horse by owners, trainers and exhibitors.
